Senior Accountant

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in King Of Prussia, PA.Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliation activities. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment, and the ability to analyze financial data while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and support month-end and year-end close processes
• Perform balance sheet and income statement analyses to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Maintain prepaid expenses, fixed assets, depreciation, and amortization schedules
• Record and reconcile payroll-related accounting entries and accruals
• Support intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and related accounting activities
• Assist with lease accounting and compliance with applicable accounting standards
• Analyze financial data, investigate variances, and resolve accounting discrepancies
• Support audit requests and provide required documentation and explanations
• Prepare financial reports, schedules, and management reporting packages
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, IF formulas, and Pivot Tables
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
