Morris Health Services is seeking a Human Resources Director who brings leadership presence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a full-scope HR role. This position offers the opportunity to lead every aspect of the human resources function while remaining actively involved in the day-to-day work that supports employees and leaders across the organization. From recruitment and onboarding to payroll, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and engagement, you'll play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and supporting our mission.

What You'll Do:

• Lead recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding efforts.
• Oversee payroll processing, timekeeping, and related workflows.
• Administer employee benefits and provide employee education and support.
• Coordinate leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, workers' compensation, and unemployment claims.
• Manage background studies, personnel files, and new hire compliance activities.
• Conduct investigations, provide guidance on employee relations matters, and oversee corrective action processes.
• Coach and support leaders in performance management and employee development.
• Interpret and administer policies while ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulatory requirements.
• Support employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
• Complete required reporting, annual audits, and maintain accurate records.
• Foster a positive, mission-driven culture throughout the organization.
• Serve as a member of the campus leadership team.

What You Bring:

• A passion for employee engagement, culture-building, and accountability.
• Two or more years of HR experience; healthcare HR experience preferred.
• Experience with payroll and HR administration preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and OSHA.
• High comfort level balancing leadership responsibilities with hands-on operational work.
• Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and follow-through.
• The ability to build trust, maintain confidentiality, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
