Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• High School Education/GED or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification required
• Successful completion of audiometry and vision training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• At least two years recent experience in the field

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive, routine technical support services under supervision
• Greet and direct visitors, providing clerical support including data entry
• Schedule patient appointments and obtain necessary patient information
• Maintain patient recall system and prepare charts with necessary forms
• Obtain vital signs and report significant findings to the clinic physician
• Perform venipunctures, audiometry, and vision testing as ordered
• Assist with referral coordination and obtain authorizations as needed
