Summary The Security Supervisor leads and coordinates security functions across a multi‑site task order in Africa, ensuring the comprehensive protection of personnel, operations, classified and sensitive information, and corporate assets. This role advises the Task Order Manager, implements force‑protection strategies in alignment with SOCAFRICA/AFRICOM ATFP requirements, and ensures full compliance with U.S. Government and Host Nation security directives. The position also supports organizational objectives related to logistics, asset protection, industrial security, investigations, and business continuity. Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities Lead, manage, and oversee all security operations across multiple African sites to ensure the protection of personnel, facilities, information, and critical assets. Implement force protection and security strategies consistent with SOCAFRICA/AFRICOM ATFP guidance and theater‑specific directives. Coordinate access control procedures with U.S. Government agencies and Host Nation authorities, ensuring compliance with badge, screening, and access requirements for restricted locations. Provide guidance on security program implementation, including logistics protection, personnel and property security, physical security measures, personnel movement security, asset protection, and safeguarding of company and customer property and resources. Ensure compliance with corporate ethics policies by monitoring and responding to incidents involving fraud, dishonesty, conflicts of interest, workplace violence, threats, harassment, gambling, sabotage, and other misconduct, and conduct inquiries or investigations as directed. Conduct audits, inspections, surveys, and security reviews across all sites; provide detailed recommendations for improvement. Oversee and support internal security training, employee awareness initiatives, residential security, project and office security, airport/airfield security, and secure transportation/route planning. Conduct threat and vulnerability assessments and site‑specific risk analyses in both domestic and international locations. Support corporate crisis management, emergency response, and business continuity programs across the task order. Perform required industrial security and clearance‑related audits to ensure compliance with client security policies and U.S. Government standards. Other duties as assigned. Basic Job Requirements Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and seven (7) years of work‑related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to eleven (11) years if non‑degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Job‑related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job. Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines. Ability to attend to detail and work in a time‑conscious and time‑effective manner. Other Job Requirements Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance. Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a national security clearance in accordance with U.S. Government standards. Preference given to applicants who already possess current eligibility. Experience supporting U.S. Government programs, particularly within Africa or other contingency environments. Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), DoDI 2000.12, military Force Protection Condition (FPCON) standards, and associated overseas force‑protection practices. Strong background in physical security, operations security (OPSEC), asset protection. Demonstrated experience conducting investigations, leading guard forces, and performing audits or assessments across multiple sites. Ability to operate in austere or high‑risk environments with multinational teams and diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors. Preferred Qualifications Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent plus seven (7) years Security experience. Prior military and/or contingency operations experience preferred. Required knowledge of current security vulnerabilities and threats. Requires adaptability for frequent OCOUNUS global travel between project sites and extended duty hours in austere locations depending on operational needs.
