We're hiring an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep a cutting-edge robotics and technology facility running smoothly. If you're skilled with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance, this is a great opportunity to put your troubleshooting skills to work in a modern, high-tech environment.

You'll be responsible for maintaining large commercial office and lab spaces, solving maintenance issues, and helping support day-to-day operations for an innovative technology-focused workplace.

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders across the facility
• Repair doors, locks, hardware, and access systems
• Troubleshoot and repair sinks, toilets, faucets, leaks, and clogs
• Replace light fixtures and perform basic electrical troubleshooting
• Handle general plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Perform basic HVAC preventive maintenance, including filter changes and system checks
• Patch drywall, paint, and complete minor carpentry projects
• Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
• Order parts and supplies as needed
• Travel throughout large facilities using a golf cart to support multiple buildings
• Prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment

• 5+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience
• Experience in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or large campus environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
• Experience with:
  • Plumbing repairs
  • Basic electrical work
  • Lighting maintenance
  • HVAC preventive maintenance
  • Painting and drywall repair
  • Minor carpentry
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and customer service skills

This isn't your typical maintenance job.

You'll work inside a large, modern campus featuring office space, labs, robotics equipment, and advanced technology operations. Every day brings something different, from troubleshooting building systems to supporting facilities that help drive innovation.

The environment is fast-paced, professional, and focused on safety and quality.

Training Period

• Monday-Friday
• Starts around 8:00 AM
• Approximately first month

After Training

• Swing Shift Schedule
• Start time around 12:00 PM or 2:00 PM
• Monday-Friday
• Weekend availability may be required based on business needs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palo Alto, CA.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $39.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
