Kelly Engineering has partnered with a global pharma organization on a great contract to hire Facilities Technician opportunity:

Location: Redwood City, CA
Shift: 10:00am-630pm
Pay: Up to $48 per hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on facilities equipment including HVAC, Water Systems, Emissions Monitoring Systems, and other critical/non-critical utilities
• Use lean tools on a day-to-day basis such as problem solving, standard work, and 5S for day-to-day activities and for continuous improvement initiatives.
• Escort and supervise third-party vendors (HVAC, purified water, carbon abatement, and other systems) while they complete their work
• Document vendor activities and close out work orders.
• Follow site procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Work safely and keep accurate records according to company policies and regulations.
• Participate in team-based problem-solving

Qualifications:

• Previous facilities experience in a GMP manufacturing environment
• Strong analytical troubleshooting skills to recognize and resolve equipment problems
• Strong communication skills and a team player attitude.
