Inventory Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Inventory Attorney in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves performing litigation support functions to enhance accuracy and efficiency across matters. The attorney will coordinate workstreams within assigned torts, maintain deadline controls, and mentor paralegals and case managers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities Understand litigation requirements and translate them into operational activities. Maintain deadline controls and ensure escalation protocols are followed. Drive filing readiness by ensuring documentation supports timely filing decisions. Deliver a client experience anchored on trust and empathy. Assist in coordinating tasks for paralegals and case managers. Oversee compliance with court rules and filing protocols. Manage post-filing litigation requirements, including pleadings and discovery. Collaborate to develop efficient procedures and improve workflows. Mentor and train legal support staff to strengthen procedural knowledge. Requirements Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to build trust and engage clients professionally. Function effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines. Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment. Work independently while collaborating with teams. Strong understanding of federal and state litigation procedures. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Education: JD required. Certification: Admission to at least one U.S. state bar required. Experience with complex litigation preferred. Experience mentoring and supervising others preferred. Experience using CM/ECF, PACER, Westlaw, and Litify.
