Position:  Full-Time House Manager (Interior);  Full-Time House Manager (Exterior)
Schedule:  Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday
8:00am–4:00pm or 9:00am–5:00pm
Salary: $70,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience
Start Date: ASAP

About the Family 

A private family in Greenwich, CT is seeking two dedicated and professional House Managers to join their estate team. One position will focus on the interior operations of the home, while the other will oversee the exterior grounds and property. These are hands-on roles for individuals who take pride in maintaining a first-class estate and ensuring everything runs smoothly on a daily basis. The family is looking for candidates who are proactive, observant, highly organized, and willing to step in wherever needed. Both positions require excellent communication skills, strong memory retention, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to both take direction and provide direction when necessary.

Interior House Manager Responsibilities

• Conduct daily walkthroughs of the residence to ensure everything is functioning properly and presented to the highest standards
• Assist the housekeeper with projects and tasks as needed
• Monitor household systems including HVAC, alarms, cameras, lighting, etc
• Report maintenance concerns and coordinate repairs as directed
• Greet guests warmly and professionally
• Assist with hospitality, entertaining, serving, and event support
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
• Maintain a high level of organization throughout the home
• Support the family and household staff with day-to-day operational needs

Exterior House Manager Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of the grounds and exterior areas
• Wipe down and maintain outdoor furniture and gathering spaces
• Raise and lower the American flag daily
• Oversee landscapers and exterior vendors
• Monitor and maintain the boat dock area
• Report any damages, repairs, maintenance issues, or safety concerns immediately
• Ensure golf carts are clean, maintained, and operating properly
• Monitor household vehicles and coordinate maintenance as needed
• Assist with seasonal projects and general property upkeep
• Ensure the grounds and exterior spaces remain guest-ready at all times

Requirements
