Registered Nurse RN Float Pool CC Responsibilities Float pool nurses are in a unique position to make a difference. Moving from assignment to assignment, they support various units within the hospital. They have high‑level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm under pressure. Qualifications Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
