Physician - Urology

Job Details:

• Locum tenens urology coverage needed for select dates from July through December


• Shift hours vary: 8:00 AM to 8:00 AM (24-hour coverage) or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with night beeper call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM


• Support staff includes one employed MD and MAs assigned


• Patient volume of approximately 15 to 18 patients per day in clinic


• Procedures: 10 to 15 per week


• Surgeries in the OR: 3 to 4 per week


• EMR system: Cerner


• Required procedures include ureteroscopy, laser lithotripsy, TURP, TURBT, and flexible cystoscopy


• Preferred procedures include TRUS biopsy and in-clinic vasectomy


• Disposable flexible cystoscopes available on-site


• Robotics available but not required


• Practice setting: Hospital


• Board Certification (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) required


• Active Arizona license or IMLC required


• DEA required


• Minimum of 1 year of experience required


• Phone interview required prior to offer
