Providing support for 1.5 to 2.5 hours twice a week, you’ll contribute valuable expertise and help students achieve their physical milestones within an inclusive educational setting.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Professional experience working in a school environment is a plus
• Expertise in assessment and development of individualized therapy plans
• Effective communication with students, families, and staff
• Ability to adapt to dynamic school settings and varying student needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver targeted, in-person physical therapy sessions in accordance with individualized education programs
• Collaborate with educators and other professionals to ensure integrated support for each student
• Maintain accurate records, documenting progress and adjusting therapy strategies as needed
• Foster an encouraging and inclusive environment that empowers every student to progress
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, sharing observations and recommendations
