Columbia Home Services (CHS) is a residential home services platform formed through the partnership of Tenex Capital Management and Oxbow Equity Partners in September 2023. The CHS platform focuses on acquiring residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical home services companies to become a leading regional provider of essential home services across the full lifecycle of home ownership, focusing on repair, maintenance, replacement, and installation services throughout the U.S. CHS is comprised of a seasoned industry leadership team with over 80 years of combined home services experience that will lead the platform as CHS aggregates more underlying operating companies. General Manager Job Description: As the General Manager of Cornerstone Pros, you will take on a pivotal role in managing the multi-million-dollar P&L for our rapidly growing business. Responsible for overseeing all facets of our operations across multiple locations, your leadership will drive financial performance, organic growth, and strategic acquisitions. Leveraging the resources provided by Columbia Home Services, you will help propel Cornerstone Pros to its full potential. Your dynamic leadership will be key in providing operational oversight, and fostering a positive, high-achieving culture. Key Responsibilities: Right hand to our President - East crafting strategic direction and leadership to the team Oversee day-to-day operations across all locations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Hold responsibility for P&L and balance sheet optimization. Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of growth, accountability, and excellence. Champion a customer-centric approach and ensure exceptional service delivery. Adhere to and uphold compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols per CHS and location guidelines Key Qualifications and Skills: Persistent, initiative-taking, and able to deliver results with limited supervision. Effective leader capable of building and leading a winning team. Strong analytical skills with an ability to turn financial and operational data into actionable strategic insights. Advanced people skills and ability to engage with people from different professional and educational backgrounds. Persistent in the face of temporary setbacks, relentlessly driven and ambitious for yourself and your team. Meaningful operations leadership experience in a “team of teams” environment Education & Experience: 7+ years proven experience in a leadership role, in a “team of teams” environment Strong analytical skills with an ability to turn financial and operational data into actionable strategic insights. Effective leader capable of building and leading a winning team. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with employees, customers, and stakeholders. Proficiency in using technology and software systems to drive operational efficiencies. Knowledge of Service Titan or Housecall Pro, a plus. Proven history of success in business development, strategy, and leadership. Strong understanding of market dynamics, industry trends and competitive forces. Preferred knowledge of insurance, release of information and/or medical records. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and people skills for building relationships and negotiating agreements. Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and purposeful environment.
