Associate Attorney – Plaintiff Personal Injury 1–3 Years of Experience | California Bar Required | Westside Los Angeles Tired of billable-hour requirements? A busy Westside Los Angeles plaintiff-side Personal Injury and Employment firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of legal experience who is ready to take ownership of cases, develop as a trial lawyer, and gain hands-on experience from case inception through jury verdict. Our associates receive real opportunities to prepare and try cases. Recent attorneys who joined us from large firms, defense practices, and other personal injury firms have first-chaired multiple jury trials within their first few years at the firm. Qualifications 1–3 years of attorney experience required Must be licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar Personal injury experience strongly preferred; at least one year of PI experience is preferred Plaintiff-side, defense, Big Law, and lateral personal injury attorneys are encouraged to apply Experience taking and defending depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts Experience preparing pleadings and handling law and motion matters Experience propounding and responding to written discovery Experience with mediations, arbitrations, settlement proceedings, and case resolution Trial preparation experience is a plus, including: Trial deadlines and trial binders Jury instructions and verdict forms Motions in limine Expert designations and expert depositions Exhibit and witness lists What We’re Looking For The ideal candidate is personable, motivated, organized, and a self-starter who wants to develop into a strong trial attorney. You should be comfortable working independently while also collaborating with a team, taking ownership of your files, communicating directly with clients, and moving cases toward resolution or trial. Compensation & Benefits Salary Range: $110,000–$150,000 per year , based on experience, qualifications, and background.
