Key Responsibilities

• First Impressions: Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members with a professional demeanor.
• Office Coordination: Manage appointment scheduling, calendar routing, and general office communications.
• Data Management: Assist in handling incoming inquiries, processing paperwork, and accurately maintaining customer records.
• Growth Support: Engage in meaningful conversations with prospective and existing customers, proactively identifying opportunities to introduce our insurance options.
• Customer Care: Provide excellent customer service, answer basic policy questions, and diligently follow up on client needs.
• Administrative Aid: Support the agent and account managers with various administrative tasks, filing, and special projects.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or retail customer service role.
• Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport quickly.
• Multitasking: Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle phone lines, walk-ins, and administrative tasks smoothly.
• Sales Mindset: Comfortable engaging in warm sales conversations and identifying customer needs without being afraid of rejection.
• Tech Savvy: Strong basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and familiarity with CRM systems or agency management software.
• Licensing (A Plus): An active California Property & Casualty (P&C) license is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate!

Compensation: $18.00 per hour
