About The Position The Senior Regional Sales Representative drives growth by developing and executing strategic sales plans for regional accounts spanning Outdoor, Snowsports and Lifestyle Accounts. With a consumer and brand–led mindset, this role focuses on building strong retail partnerships while optimizing profitability for both Mountain Hardwear and our partner accounts across California, Nevada, Arizona, and Hawaii. How You’ll Make a Difference Implement strategies to maintain and own account relationships within the assigned territory. Seek to identify and execute sales opportunities with an enterprise mindset. Construct, communicate, and execute sales plans and forecasts externally and internally. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to support a best‑in‑class business. Gather marketplace intelligence and consumer insights to execute brand strategy. Deliver compelling seasonal product presentations utilizing elevated and persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques. Travel up to 50% of the time, including mandatory attendance at tradeshows year‑round, ongoing territory visits, HQ meetings, and grassroots brand activations, and train retail staff as needed. YOU ARE

Able to develop and execute specialty and key brick‑and‑mortor dealer strategy with the sales team. Able to be decisive and empowered to make decisions when necessary. An outdoor enthusiast who is passionate about an active lifestyle.

YOU HAVE

Bachelor’s degree, applicable certification, or equivalent experience. Typically 5–8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the tools, systems, and procedures required to accomplish the job. 5–8 years of experience in sales of apparel, footwear, equipment, and/or equivalent merchant experience. Proven success meeting deadlines and sales/revenue goals in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment with elements of ambiguity. Experience working within integrated cross‑functional teams and establishing effective relationships internally and externally. Advanced knowledge of retail analytics. Advanced interpersonal skills, including relationship building, persuasive speaking, and proven negotiation abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, plus proficiency with Microsoft Office and Power BI. Time‑management skills to handle sample lines, territory travel, tear‑down and setup, while maintaining order books and shipments.
