Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2236.28 Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work in a high-volume emergency department with 101 beds • Patient ratios are typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds • Every other weekend scheduling required with flexibility to meet department needs • Block scheduling is not available • Must be open to floating to all sections within the ED; no floating outside of the ED • Use Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care • Document using Cerner electronic health record system • Follow AIDET patient experience standards and maintain updated patient boards throughout each visit • Navy scrubs required as dress code • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required with at least 1 year in an ER setting • Previous experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000 visits) preferred • Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and provide real-time feedback • Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required • Required certifications prior to start date: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS • ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire Facility: This flagship hospital is licensed for 815 beds and has been recognized as one of America's 50 Best Hospitals from 2020 to 2023, placing it in the top 1% of hospitals nationally for clinical quality.
