Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security‑related incidents, and support access awareness across the property. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to tenants, residents, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors, and/or property concerns in accordance with site procedures. Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift communications to support ongoing awareness of security‑related activities at the property. Minimum Requirements A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
