About Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG) Innovation Through Integration. Integrated Real Estate Group (IREG) is a vertically integrated real estate company with more than 1,200 employees across 46+ communities - and growing . For over 20 years, we’ve developed and operated multifamily and senior living communities across Texas and Oklahoma, delivering more than 15,000 units and $2 billion in total development. What sets IREG apart is our integrated approach, bringing together development, construction, and operations to create high-performing communities across affordable housing, workforce housing, and market-rate living , including multifamily, active adult, independent living, assisted living, and memory care. At IREG, innovation isn’t just what we build, it’s how we operate, grow, and develop our people. We build communities and develop the people who lead them. Step Into Executive Leadership in Senior Living Are you ready to lead—not someday, but soon? Integrated Real Estate Group’s Executive Director in Training (EDIT) Program is a paid, structured leadership development program designed for high-potential professionals who are ready to advance into executive-level senior living operations. This is not an entry-level role. It is an immersive, approximately 12-month leadership pathway for professionals with demonstrated leadership experience who want to develop the operational, financial, people-management, and strategic capabilities required to lead a senior living community. Through hands‑on experience, structured learning, executive mentorship, and progressive responsibility, you’ll prepare to oversee a community’s operations, lead multidisciplinary teams, drive financial performance, and deliver an exceptional experience for residents and families. Throughout the program, you’ll gain direct exposure to every major area of community leadership, including: Community operations and executive decision-making Financial management, budgeting, and performance reporting Sales, marketing, occupancy, and revenue strategy Human resources, payroll, hiring, coaching, and retention Resident services and family relationship management Regulatory compliance, quality standards, and risk management Business office operations and accounts receivable Team culture, accountability, and leadership development This is a hands‑on, immersive experience. You will actively participate in operating the community, solving business challenges, supporting department leaders, and gradually assuming greater ownership as your knowledge and leadership readiness develop. Progress is measured through hands‑on performance, structured learning modules, milestone assessments, leadership feedback, and demonstrated readiness—not simply time spent in the program. Upon successful completion, graduates may be considered for placement into an Executive Director, Business Office Manager, or other approved community leadership position , based on demonstrated readiness, business needs, position availability, and geographic flexibility. What You’ll Own During Training Learn the operations of each community department and how those functions work together to support residents, employees, and overall business performance Participate in daily leadership meetings, operational reviews, and community stand‑ups Support the Executive Director in overseeing daily community operations and resolving operational challenges Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, accounts receivable, collections, expense management, and performance tracking Review community performance indicators related to occupancy, revenue, labor, resident satisfaction, and operational efficiency Partner with sales and marketing leaders to support occupancy goals, outreach strategies, upcoming move‑ins, and resident transitions Gain experience with recruiting, onboarding, payroll, timekeeping, employee relations, coaching, performance management, and retention Build relationships with residents and families while helping address questions, concerns, and service needs Learn applicable company policies, regulatory requirements, licensing standards, and risk‑management practices Participate in community events, resident programming, department meetings, and leadership initiatives Support department leaders in maintaining established budgets, service standards, staffing expectations, and operational goals Complete structured learning assignments, leadership assessments, and developmental milestones throughout the program Accept increasing responsibility for community operations as skills, judgment, and leadership capabilities develop Program Highlights Approximately 12-month paid leadership development program Competitive salary throughout the training period Structured executive leadership curriculum with progressive responsibility Direct mentorship from experienced Executive Directors and regional operations leaders Regular coaching, performance feedback, and leadership‑development discussions Hands‑on experience across community operations, sales, finance, human resources, and resident services Exposure to multiple senior living operating models and service levels Structured learning modules and milestone assessments throughout the program Opportunities to participate in cross‑functional projects and strategic initiatives Career placement consideration based on demonstrated readiness, business needs, geographic flexibility, and position availability Location and Host‑Site Placement This position is part of our Executive Director-in-Training program and will be based at one of our designated host communities within the Dallas–Fort Worth or Houston market.
