Litigation Legal Assistant

Cruser Mitchell, a nationally recognized litigation defense firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our expanding Miami office. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled legal professional with at least two years of litigation experience who is looking to take an active, hands-on role supporting complex cases within a collaborative and high-performing team. In this role, you will contribute directly to case strategy and execution while working in a professional environment that values precision, initiative, and teamwork. What We're Looking For At least 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense Experience with e-filing at the state and federal level (court-filing computer systems) Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities Self-motivated professional with a proactive, team-oriented mindset Full-time, in-office position (40 hours per week) Duties & Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and briefs. Organize and maintain case files and legal documents. Coordinate and schedule meetings, hearings, and deposition Assist with Invoices. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel. Draft correspondence and communicate case updates to clients. File documents electronically with courts and agencies.
