Job Title:  Assistant Operations I

Location:  Monroeville, PA.

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $17.50/hr.

Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Job Description: 

Position Summary:

The Pharmacy Warehouse Associate/Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacy operations by coordinating, assembling, packaging, and shipping patient medication orders. This role is responsible for inventory management, stock replenishment, cycle counts, shipment tracking, and maintaining an organized warehouse environment under the supervision of a pharmacist. The position requires strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Duties:

• Coordinate, assemble, package, and prepare patient medication orders for shipment.
• Retrieve and organize shipping documents and labels for order processing.
• Pack and ship medications using national carriers and track deliveries.
• Report undelivered or delayed packages and maintain shipping records.
• Perform inventory management, cycle counts, and restock pharmacy picking areas.
• Receive and organize incoming non-pharmaceutical supplies and inventory.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and adequate stock levels.
• Assist with purchase orders, inventory tracking, and reconciliation processes.
• Manage returned goods according to SOP guidelines.
• Use computer systems, MS Word, Excel, and data entry tools for daily operations.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks when needed.
• Perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and standing/walking for extended periods.

Required experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a warehouse, inventory, purchasing, or shipping environment.
• Experience with packing, shipping, and working with national carriers preferred.
• Previous pharmacy or pharmacy technician experience is a plus.
• Data entry and basic computer skills, including MS Word and Excel.
• Active PA Pharmacy Technician license or certification required.
• Experience with inventory tracking, cycle counts, and stock replenishment preferred.
