Bilingual Administrative Assistant / Receptionist

Clayton Services is searching for a Bilingual Administrative Assistant t o join a growing industrial manufacturing and distribution organization in North Houston. The Bilingual Administrative Assistant will be responsible for supporting daily office operations, answering incoming calls, assisting with accounts payable processes, and providing administrative support to ensure business continuity during a planned leave of absence.

Job Type: Temporary (approximately one month)
Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Bilingual Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in both English and Spanish
  • Greet visitors, vendors, and customers in a professional manner
  • Provide administrative support to office and warehouse personnel
  • Enter vendor invoices and bills into QuickBooks
  • Assist with accounts payable processes and payment documentation
  • Support check processing activities and maintain related records
  • Maintain organized filing systems and administrative documentation
  • Coordinate communication with vendors, customers, and internal team members
  • Assist with data entry, document preparation, and general clerical tasks
  • Ensure continuity of office operations during administrative staff absences
  • Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Bilingual Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Skills and Abilities:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks required
  • Strong administrative, clerical, and data entry skills
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service abilities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse-based office environment

Bilingual Receptionist / Administrative Assistant Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in an administrative assistant, receptionist, office coordinator, or similar role required
  • Experience utilizing QuickBooks for invoice entry, accounts payable support, or bookkeeping functions required
  • Bilingual customer service or office support experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, industrial, or distribution environment is a plus
