Role Overview The LPN Medication Nurse provides licensed nursing support in senior care settings, focusing on safe medication administration, health monitoring, and accurate clinical documentation. Key Responsibilities Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders Following the Six Rights of Medication Administration to ensure safety Documenting in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time Monitoring symptoms and administering medications for relief Reporting refusals or adverse reactions promptly Conducting Service & Health Updates (SHUs) Transcribing physician orders and supporting care plan updates Observing and reporting physical, emotional, or cognitive changes Maintaining medication carts, completing narcotic counts, and ensuring compliance Qualifications & Skills Active LPN license in good standing CPR and First Aid certification Strong assessment and documentation skills Experience in senior care or medication administration preferred The role plays a critical part in preventing medication errors, early detection of health changes, and safeguarding resident safety through clinical precision and regulatory compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
