Flatbed Company Driver (W-2) - West Des Moines, IA
Join the HMD Trucking family as we seek experienced OTR Solo CDL A Flatbed Drivers to haul freight nationwide. We offer strong mileage pay starting at $0.65 per mile, along with performance bonuses (+$0.05 CPM for safety/productivity) and a $2,500 sign-on bonus.

- A modern fleet of over 500 trucks equipped with APUs, inverters, and sleeper cabs.
- Full in-house maintenance support and removable rider seats.
- Compensation for every haul, whether you're using a tarp or not.
- Regular home time and a full benefits package including health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k).
Qualifications:
- Must possess a Class A CDL.
- At least 12 months of OTR flatbed experience. Join us at HMD for competitive compensation and a supportive team environment focused on safety and driver success.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- 6 months of flatbed experience
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

- Empty Miles: Paid at the same CPM as loaded miles (company drivers only)
- Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
