Accounts Payable Coordinator

About the Role The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with company policies and SOX controls. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, supporting month-end close activities, and contributing to continuous improvement across the Accounts Payable function. What You’ll Do Process vendor invoices with accurate coding, including two-way and three-way matching Prepare and process weekly vendor payments, capturing discounts when applicable Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in partnership with internal teams and vendors Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, quantities, and payment inquiries Reconcile corporate credit card expenses and ensure proper documentation Monitor AP inboxes for invoices, payment requests, and general inquiries Set up new vendors and maintain accurate vendor records Support intercompany invoice processing and account balancing Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Maintain financial documentation in accordance with record retention policies What We’re Looking For Associate degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related accounting role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook Experience working with ERP systems Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities High attention to detail with a strong sense of urgency and accountability Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong customer-service mindset and ability to collaborate cross-functionally The expected hourly range for this position is $22.00 – $26.00 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by law.
