The Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Middle School Math teacher to fill a vacancy in the district. The program is supported by a teaching team that works collaboratively to develop and implement curriculum. Position Type: Instruction/Middle School Location: Muir Middle School Salary: Per HVEA Contract Reports To: Principal Status: School Year 2026-2027 Start Date: 08/25/2026

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must hold a valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with an EX endorsement

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To effectively provide materials and instruction to eligible students
• To effectively communicate with students, staff and families

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS:

• Ability to speak and write effectively.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations.
• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
