PLC Technician

Electronics TechnicianAs an Electronics Technician, the role will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic equipment and systems. The role involves diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that all electronic devices operate efficiently and reliably. The technician will work closely with engineering and production teams to support the development and enhancement of electronic systems and provide technical expertise to troubleshoot and address any malfunctions.Key Responsibilities:Installing and configuring electronic systems and equipment according to specifications and standards.Diagnosing and repairing malfunctions in electronic devices and systems using diagnostic tools and techniques.Performing tests on electronic systems to ensure proper functionality and calibrating equipment as needed.Conducting regular maintenance and preventive checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.Keeping detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and modifications, as well as updating technical documentation.Ensuring that all electronic components meet quality and safety standards before deployment.Working with engineers and other technicians to develop and improve electronic products and systems.Assisting in the training of junior technicians and staff on equipment usage and safety protocols.Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards in all electronic work performed.Managing and maintaining an inventory of electronic components and tools necessary for repairs and installations.NOTE: this description is not intended to be all inclusive.
