Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference this summer by supporting students during the Extended School Year (ESY) session with a flexible contract opportunity. This position serves middle and high school students in a supportive and collaborative school environment near Arlington Heights, IL. Perfect for an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) interested in working on a part-time basis.

Qualifications:

• Valid OT or COTA licensure required
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Ability to work effectively with middle and high school students
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students’ individual needs during ESY
• Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with school policies
• Adapt interventions to promote student success in educational and functional environments

This role offers a consistent schedule, Monday through Thursday from 7:45am to 12:15pm, limited to the ESY session—no commitments beyond summer unless optional.
