TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of experience required in a large, urban hospital License: Active RN License in the state Certifications: BLS required, ACLS and Chemotherapy preferred Must-Have: Two years of prior experience required. Experience with EPIC charting in the last two years. Must be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility. Candidates must have experience within a Level 1 trauma facility in the last year. 100% nicotine-free facility. No locals accepted; candidates must be more than 100 miles from the facility. Description: This is a 36-bed medical-surgical oncology unit that serves a wide variety of medical and surgical oncology and acute care patients. Services include general oncology, surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, and a select group of hospitalists. Registered Nurses should be prepared to care for up to five med-surg patients at a time. Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:4 during the day and 1:5 at night. The role involves working with a care team that includes CNAs, care techs, and LPNs, as well as support services. Travelers must work four weekend shifts out of eight possible in a four-week period. The facility requires that travelers work two of three major holidays during the winter season. Candidates must submit any requests for time off with their application. Travelers may be required to float to other units based on facility needs. All nurses are expected to adhere to the facility’s protocols and policies.
