Pizza Cook Company Overview Highland Park Bowl is Los Angeles' oldest bowling alley and a landmark neighborhood destination. With 8 vintage lanes, a full restaurant, and 4 bars under one roof, we offer guests a unique mix of bowling, dining, drinking, and live entertainment. The Opportunity We are looking for experienced Pizza Cooks who care about doing things the right way—hand-stretched dough, a clean and organized station, and consistent execution in a high-volume kitchen. You will work with an in-house dough program and a wood-fired oven to produce pizzas that our guests come back for, service after service. If you enjoy the pace of a busy line and take pride in every pie leaving the window, this is a strong next step in your kitchen career. What You'll Do Hand-stretch dough and cook pizzas in a wood-fired or commercial pizza oven to our quality and consistency standards. Set up, stock, and break down your station with all necessary sauces, toppings, and mise en place for each shift. Prepare ingredients for service, including chopping vegetables, portioning meats, and making or finishing sauces. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work station while following Health Department and company sanitation protocols. Work efficiently and cooperatively with the kitchen team to ensure food leaves the line hot, accurate, and on time during high-volume services. What Success Looks Like Within your first months, you consistently turn out pizzas that meet our standards for appearance, taste, and timing during peak service. Your station is always prepped, stocked, and clean, with minimal waste and no interruptions to service due to lack of product. Health and safety practices are second nature to you, with zero critical violations related to your station. You become a dependable team member who communicates clearly, supports others on the line, and contributes to a positive kitchen culture. What We're Looking For Experience stretching pizza dough and cooking in a wood-burning or commercial pizza oven in a high-volume environment. Strong cleanliness and organization habits, with a focus on avoiding cross-contamination and following Health Department protocol. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items as needed during prep and service.
