Program Director

TheU.S.–U.A.E. Business Councilis seeking a dedicated professional to help manage events and member services at a fast-paced, growing business association. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and organizational skills and be a team player. The U.S.-U.A.E. Business Council is based in Washington, D.C. and the successful candidate would be expected to work in the office.We will consider candidates across the Associate Director, Director, or Senior Director levels, based on experience and qualifications. Responsibilities Managing events from conceptualization to execution Ensuring regular engagement with member companies and successful and timely execution of member deliverables Preparing meetings, writing meeting synopses, and providing related executive support Writing press releases, corporate profiles, sectoral overviews, policy reports, and other informational materials Compiling a daily digest of key news articles about the U.S. and U.A.E. Executing special projects and miscellaneous leadership requests as needed Required Skills Responsive, professional, and positive “can-do” attitude with senior executives and government officials Ability to think and act proactively to execute leadership directives Exceptional attention to detail Ability to work closely and collaboratively with other team members in execution of various projects Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) and research skills Ability to multitask, plan ahead, and deliver on strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment Proficiency with social media Required Experience and Education 2-5+ years of professional experience with business or government BA required and Master’s degree preferred Experience or familiarity with the Middle East and the Gulf region Salary and Benefits 60K-80K annual salary, based on experience and qualifications 5-20% yearly bonus potential, based on year-end performance Generous benefits, including eligibility for health, dental, life, and disability insurance, transportation allowance, profit sharing, and 401K matching contribution #J-18808-Ljbffr
