Accounting Manager

Accounting ManagerThe A.C.Coy Company has an immediate need for an Accounting Manager. Ideal candidates will have 8+ years of progressive accounting experience within manufacturing as well as 2+ years of management experience. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working with an international or global organization.ResponsibilitiesManage financial close process and prepare accurate financials to ensure timely reporting to corporate and joint venture partners.Oversee cost accounting processes including inventory control.Analyze manufacturing variances and identify cost savings.Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.Lead and develop accounting staff including supporting team development and employee engagement.QualificationsRequired Education:Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fieldCPA, MBA or CMA preferredRequired Experience:8+ years of progressive accounting within a manufacturing environment2+ years managerial or supervisory experienceExperience with large ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or JD EdwardsStrong communication skills both written and verbalDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
