The Production Operator will be responsible for learning machines used in production and all the processes. The key to your success is to produce the best quality product, on-time while practicing safety as a top priority. Essential Job Functions: Perform all gathering, weighing and packaging duties for the different equipment throughout. manufacturing including the computer control system software. Troubleshoot equipment issues and provide input to supervision/management. Maintain an acceptable level of housekeeping throughout the facility and participate in 5s activities. Perform all duties in such a manner as to maintain a safe working environment for all employees and in accordance with the Quality Management System guidelines, including maintaining proper documentation in all work areas. Assist co-workers and promote a team environment while using effective communication skills. Other duties as assigned by a supervisor, lead employee, or other member of management. Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED Knowledge of MS Office Ability to repeatedly lift 55 lbs. and stand for long periods of time Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing environment Experience with batch manufacturing preferred Forklift experience preferred Drug screen and background check are mandatory if you are offered this position.
