We're seeking an Accounting Manager in Lancaster, PA to oversee day-to-day financial operations and support the month-end close process for a growing mechanical contractor.

Impact
- Ensures financial accuracy by maintaining precise general ledger records and account reconciliations.
- Improves cash flow by managing service billing, accounts receivable, and collections activities.
- Supports executive leadership with data-driven insights for budgeting and annual forecasting.
- Strengthens operational efficiency by identifying and automating manual accounting tasks.

Responsibilities
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities to ensure timely reporting.
- Prepare and post journal entries in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, fixed assets, and accrual accounts.
- Oversee service division billing, credit memos, and payment applications.
- Coordinate service contract renewals and maintain accurate customer records.
- Assist the CFO with the preparation of annual budgets and financial reports.
- Lead sales tax compliance filings and support external audit requests.
- Optimize accounting software and ERP systems to improve data integrity.
