Join Our Team as an OB Case Manager – Registered Nurse Job Description: - Are you a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse looking to make a real impact in the lives of patients and families? - We are seeking an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) who thrives in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting, specializing in OB Case Management. - In this vital role, you will: - Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care across the continuum of care. - Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate exceptional care. - Administer medications and treatments, perform clinical procedures, and offer valuable patient education. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient safety. - Maintain a clean, safe working environment, adhering to infection control and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans. - Implement and evaluate nursing interventions, recognizing changes in patient conditions. - Deliver culturally responsive, patient-centered education and support. - Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records. - Advocate for patients and assist them in navigating the healthcare system. - Participate in quality improvements and maintain required competencies and certifications. - Support the orientation and mentorship of staff and students. Requirements: - Active Alaska RN license required at time of submittal. - Minimum of 2 years of OB Case Management experience. - Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - Strong clinical judgment skills with the ability to work independently.
