Technical Product Manager - Service Now

$150k - $170k

BellRing Brands Inc.

We’re looking for people who embody the challenger mindset. Challengers don’t wait for perfect conditions; they take smart, calculated risks, move early, and learn by doing, even with imperfect information. They understand that the cost of standing still is often greater than the risk of acting. We also know that bold moves are strongest when made together. At PNC, we question assumptions, push ideas further, hold each other to high standards AND believe that cooperation, respectful communication, and having fun are critical to our success. Position: Technical Product Manager - Service Now Location: Emeryville, CA Job Id: 233 # of Openings: 1 Here’s what all the hype is about… Premier Nutrition Company (PNC) is one of the fastest-growing companies in the proactive wellness space showing clear leadership in the category of protein shakes and powders. We make the brands Premier Protein and Dymatize, and are part of our publicly traded holding company, BellRing Brands (NYSE: BRBR). We have a simple, yet powerful, formula for our success, which we’ve been nailing since our founding in 1997. We start with an organization powered by our company purpose—Changing Lives with Good Energy. Then our purpose-driven people are given the support and autonomy to develop and grow. Next, we are super-intentional about designing a culture where everyone feels like they truly connect and belong, which is one of our five company core values. Purpose-driven, connected employees deliver amazing business results. And winning companies with remarkable people and thriving cultures attract and retain top talent, so the cycle becomes self-reinforcing or what we call our regenerative culture. We don’t mind sharing our formula, since we believe the world would be a better place if more workplaces treated adults like adults and gave them the platform to do the best work of their lives—alongside some truly amazing colleagues. Why don’t more companies do this? It takes deep-in-your-bones conviction to your people, products, and purpose to pull it off. It also takes resisting the urge to try to control people, and instead, trusting them to make the right decisions. The result of our vibrant culture speaks for itself: We were certified as a Great Place to Work™ for the 9th year-running in 2025. And we currently rank #8 on Fortune Magazine’s Best Workplaces in our category and were in the top 12 for each of the last 7 years. We have a long list of ways we take care of our people, but here are some crowd-pleasers that our employees often say they love most: Year-round ½ day Fridays, in-office massages, free lunches & snacks, dogs in the office, culture of belonging celebrations, engaging in-office events like bring your kids to work day, 6% 401k match after 1 year, generous paid family leave regardless of gender, all positions bonus-eligible, company-wide volunteer days, company-matched charitable donations, no employee handbook, no dress code, coaching conversations instead of performance reviews, and walking meetings. #LIHYBRID PNC seeks individuals who will flourish in this type of work environment and will add to our culture and help build this high-growth company for the next phase in our amazing journey. Does this sound like you? Then read on… The Role… As the Technical Product Manager, ServiceNow, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, delivery, configuration, and ongoing evolution of Premier Nutrition’s ServiceNow platform. You will partner closely with IT, business stakeholders, platform administrators, developers, and vendor partners to translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow capabilities that improve intake, delivery, support, governance, reporting, integrations, and the overall employee experience. This is a hands‑on product role for someone who can define the roadmap, manage projects and enhancements, configure and develop solutions, support releases and upgrades, and see improvements through from discovery to adoption. We are a dynamic, HYBRID workplace, with an expectation that all employees come into the office Tuesday through Thursday. We are very intentional about connecting in person for things like innovation, impromptu collaboration, having respectful challenges to get to better decisions, leadership role‑modeling, and culture building. Great work cultures are built on stories about what great looks like in practice, and great stories during virtual meetings just don’t happen. The expected pay scale for this role is $150k to $170k which may vary based on relevant experience, qualifications, geographic area (if applicable), and internal equity for the role. At the beginning of 2026, we moved into our massive modern 133,000 square foot headquarters in Emeryville, California, complete with spacious personal workspaces, gym with rock‑climbing wall, a café, free onsite parking, tons of greenery, and many transportation options. You’re excited about this opportunity because your time will be filled with… Product Strategy, Stakeholder Partnership & Agile Execution: 50% of Time Serve as the primary product owner for ServiceNow by communicating the ServiceNow product vision, strategy, roadmap, and enhancement backlog, prioritizing work based on business impact, platform strategy, resource capacity, dependencies and stakeholder readiness. Partner with IT leaders, process owners, business stakeholders, and vendor partners to understand needs, prioritize demand, and translate requirements into clear product capabilities and delivery sprint and release plans. Define success measures, adoption goals, platform KPIs, and business outcomes that demonstrate the value of ServiceNow investments and continuous improvement. Lead ServiceNow projects and enhancements from discovery through launch, including stakeholder requirements gathering, user story and acceptance criteria creation, functional specifications, configuration needs, workflow and process diagrams, documentation, testing, communications, and adoption. Facilitate agile ceremonies such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, release readiness reviews, and status communications. Balance strategic platform growth with practical delivery discipline, ensuring ServiceNow remains scalable, intuitive, secure, and aligned to enterprise process standards. Champion change management, training, and communications so users understand new capabilities and adopt improved ways of working. ServiceNow Configuration, Development & Platform Support: 35% of Time Configure and develop ServiceNow applications, workflows, dashboards, reports, catalog items, service requests, knowledge, and service portal/Employee Center experiences to meet business needs. Partner with administrators, developers, architects, integration team members, and external consultants to design scalable solutions, manage integrations with other enterprise applications, and minimize unnecessary customization. Support platform health, release management, vendor release summaries and readiness documents, environment readiness, ServiceNow upgrades, update‑set review, regression testing, production support, troubleshooting, debugging, and incident management. Collaborate with Master Data and Audit teams to support permissions, roles, user access, governance controls, and audit‑ready documentation. Provide technical support, user training, process documentation, release notes, support materials, and operational reporting to enable adoption and continuous improvement. The daily stuff that everyone does but few quantify: 15% of Time Attending meetings and presentations Participating in company‑wide activities and events galore Impromptu conversations with colleagues Administrative activity like email, calendaring, and expense reports Learning and development What are we looking for? Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical product management, business systems analysis, product ownership, platform delivery, or technical project delivery roles using SDLC methodologies and standards, with Agile experience preferred. 3+ years of hands‑on experience using or supporting ServiceNow capabilities, including Incident, Knowledge Base, Service Requests, Service Portal/Employee Center, ITSM, SPM, workflow automation, reporting, service catalog, or related modules. Experience managing integration endpoints or partnering on integrations between ServiceNow and external systems or enterprise applications. Experience working with vendor partners, outsourced consultants, administrators, developers, and platform support teams to deliver configuration, automation, reporting, and advanced development requests. Proven track record of improving processes, increasing adoption, troubleshooting operational issues, and guiding multiple stakeholders through prioritization and continuous improvement. Skills and mindset: Excellent communication, facilitation and relationship building skills, with the ability to align technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leaders around clear priorities and decisions. Ability to learn new systems or processes quickly. Ability to define a product vision, build a practical roadmap, manage a backlog, and create milestones that move the platform forward. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, prioritization, facilitation, and decision‑making skills in a dynamic environment. Ability to develop effective working relationships with cross‑functional teams and work independently to evaluate business and technical options, tradeoffs, and dependencies. A self‑starter, customer‑oriented product thinker who can create structure, challenge assumptions respectfully, drive alignment, and get meaningful work delivered. Key Capabilities & Traits Important to Add to and Diversify your Current Team: Product mindset and platform ownership Stakeholder management, business analysis, and prioritization ServiceNow configuration, workflow development, portal, reporting, and support expertise Integration awareness and ability to partner with vendors, administrators, developers Release, upgrade, testing, documentation, and platform governance discipline Ability to challenge ideas respectfully, simplify complexity, influence change, and drive adoption You will thrive here and may just do the best work of your life if… You want to shape a product that improves how work gets requested, prioritized, delivered, and supported across the organization. You enjoy turning ambiguous business needs into clear product direction, practical requirements, and usable platform capabilities. You are comfortable working in the grey while still moving teams toward process clarity, governance, and continuous improvement. You can balance user experience, technical feasibility, platform standards, and delivery tradeoffs without losing sight of business value. You are comfortable being natural, casual, open, and even a bit playful at work. You don’t have a big ego and hate siloed thinking. You like to get sh*t, I mean—stuff done. You can facilitate productive conversations with stakeholders, technical teams, and leaders even when priorities compete. You can do periods of focused, deep work on product strategy, backlog refinement, process design, and platform improvement. This may not be your ideal next career move if… You like hierarchy, command and control management. You want to build lots of process for the sake of process instead of useful, scalable ways of working. Dealing with ambiguity, experimentation, or competing priorities is not your jam. You prefer to take requirements at face value instead of asking thoughtful questions about the problem we are trying to solve. You enjoy customizing platforms without considering long‑term supportability, governance, or user experience. You like managing work from your house with your camera off and demonstrating excellence through email. You tend to chase whatever shiny object presents itself during the day instead of real product outcomes. Here’s the deal with our not‑so‑standard, ahem…standard interview process because we know you are the curious type, which is why you’re still reading this… Quick 30 min phone chat with a member of our Talent Acquisition team to do a quick overview of your background and answer any burning questions you have Team interviews are kept to a minimum to foster a more efficient, candidate‑friendly process (too many interviewers yields little value and drags out the process for you — and who wants that?): A series of in‑person or video interviews in a 1:1 setting; these are usually with the hiring manager, one or two other team members, and a person from another team to get broader perspectives (note: we don’t do panel interviews because they don’t give interviewers a chance to ask you unique questions, and we assign interviewers different roles so we’re probing different capabilities) A case study or job task to simulate what you’d actually be doing in the role (since your job is not actually to be interviewed for a living, so why is that the thing companies rely on so much?) Yes, there will be a small panel for this one so you don’t have to do it more than once, and yes, they might ask you some kind yet probing questions at the end after the applause stops. Once your interview concludes, the team will meet for an in‑depth consultative process to ensure we are hiring the right person for the right job. Interviewers must come in with a strong yes or no vote beforehand to avoid groupthink with supporting reasons. The collective thoughts on your candidacy will be discussed in an environment of safety to challenge ideas respectfully, debate. and be open to all important qualifications of the candidates. A trained, disinterested bias blocker will be present to help mitigate bias so the team can make a sound hiring decision. The moment of truth arrives when the hiring manager makes the big decision. If you nailed the interviews and the case study was brilliant, guess what? The offer is all yours! And the ball is in your court. Will you accept? We sure hope so because this place is the real deal, and don’t just believe us—just ask the 93% of our people who said this is a great place to work in our most recent employee survey. If we haven’t convinced you to apply already, here are some of our favorite perks and benefits: Friday afternoons off year-round (and of course a hefty PTO package plus 11 holidays) 6% 401K match. Literally free money Hybrid work with an average of 3 days a week in the office for local folks All jobs are bonus-eligible Work‑out time during work Free custom lunch for in office days. Plus, plenty of snacks and shakes. 2 weeks of work from anywhere time to move your Big Rocks Quarterly team building events/happy hours (city‑wide scavenger hunt, bowling, ropes course, putt‑putt) Bring your dog to work (3 days/week) Extended paid parental leave regardless of gender or familial make‑up We strive to create an equitable and inclusive environment to contribute to the success of our organization. Premier Nutrition provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, status as a covered veteran and any other category protected under applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws. Generous paid family leave regardless of gender Free lunches, shakes & snacks to fuel your collaboration Dogs in the office Celebrations of our culture of belonging #J-18808-Ljbffr BellRing Brands Inc.
