TMS & Spravato Treatment Coordinator

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at a small but growing psychiatry private practice working closely alongside our providers (psychiatric nurse practitioners) to provide high quality, compassionate care. We are looking for someone with experience working in mental healthcare who shares our passion for fighting the stigma. This role will primarily involve working as a TMS technician and monitoring patients following their Spravato (esketamine) treatments, but will also involve cross training to assist the administrative team with things like prior authorizations, pharmacy calls, and patient communication. Pay structure includes base pay with bonus incentive opportunities. Duties Engage with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and provide emotional support as needed. Efficiently and effectively communicate and coordinate with providers regarding patient care. Perform basic clinical tasks such as monitoring vital signs, preparing patients for treatment, and documenting patient care. Utilize medical coding systems accurately for patient records and billing purposes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment, adhering to safety protocols. Handle medical records and protected patient health information in compliance with HIPAA laws. Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all clinical and administrative tasks including and especially thorough documentation. Experience/Requirements Medical Assistant training/certification Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or a similar healthcare role within a psychiatry/mental health setting Experience with Spravato and TMS preferred Knowledge of coding practices related to patient care documentation is a plus Strong interpersonal skills, kindness, compassion and an empathetic heart are non-negotiable A great big personality and sense of humor will fit best with our team :)
