Develops and completes punch lists.Stays current with the basic code regulations, materials, systems, and other matters related toconstruction in the retirement services field.Is involved with the design, estimations, and purchases needed for the current projects. Able toenvision the needed outcome.Works well with others and maintains good relationships with all subcontractors and departments.Organizes and stores materials related to construction and renovations.Helps develop and follows the required schedules for the projects.Demonstrates initiative, strong organizational skills, and able to perform duties without closesupervision.Relates well with residents, clients, family members, staff and the community.Assists with snow removal and other emergencies as needed.Assists with emergency situations at Landis Homes, especially fire, wind and flood emergencies, aswell as disruption of utility service (electric, gas, water and sewer).Demonstrates dependability, competence, accuracy and is observant.Adheres to compliance policies regarding confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and resident and clientrights.Complies with regulatory agency standards and applicable policies and procedures.Complies with safety and infection control protocols in all aspects of the job.Landis Communities Printed on:12/30/2021 10:05:31 AMPosition Essential Duties/ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates understanding of the Code of Conduct and abides by its guidelines in all aspects ofthe job.Attends in-services and team meetings as required for role.Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.Position QualificationsMust be at least 18 years of age.High school diploma/GED or demonstrated proficiency in reading and writing skills required.Maintains current valid Pennsylvania driver's license.Minimum 5 years experience related to maintenance or general construction, preferably withexperience in both commercial and residential renovations mainly in the areas of carpentry,electrical, and plumbing.Knowledgeable in electrical & plumbing repair, drywall repair, tile installation, painting and flooring.Adaptable to work in a team environment in support of others while completing individual tasksGood verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills required.Demonstrates a pleasant personality with flexibility and adaptability for frequent interruptions. #J-18808-Ljbffr
