Staff Accountant Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support a growing organization during a period of operational transition and system implementation. This role will play a key part in maintaining daily accounting functions, supporting reporting needs, and assisting with month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to support a growing organization during a period of operational transition and system implementation. This role will play a key part in maintaining daily accounting functions, supporting reporting needs, and assisting with month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant
- Perform cash application and reconciliation , matching transactions across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll
- Complete bank reconciliations as part of the month-end close process
- Review and support accounts payable and invoicing , including allocating expenses across multiple entities or clients
- Assist with month-end close activities , ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Generate and maintain ad hoc financial reports using Excel and Google Sheets
- Analyze data and ensure accuracy of financial records and reporting
- Review and manage cash activity within the accounting system
- Work through reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Support invoice review and expense allocation processes
- Create and update tracking documents and reports
- Collaborate with accounting leadership on reporting and close activities
- Strong experience with QuickBooks
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
- Experience with cash and bank reconciliations
- Accounts Payable experience
- Solid understanding of the full accounting cycle
- Experience with NetSuite
- Exposure to month-end close processes (prepaids, assets, reporting)
- Experience with ad hoc reporting and financial analysis
- Collaborative and team-oriented environment
- Strong communication culture using digital tools
- Opportunity to work closely with accounting leadership
