About the Position

We provide diagnostic imaging directly to patients in assisted living communities, skilled nursing facilities, memory care communities, hospice settings, physician offices, and private residences throughout Arizona.

We are seeking an experienced, dependable coordinator to manage imaging orders, patient scheduling, technician dispatch, and communication with patients, caregivers, medical offices, and facilities.

This is a central operations position. The right candidate will be responsive, organized, calm under pressure, and committed to ensuring that every call, order, and appointment receives timely follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally during assigned business hours.
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, physicians, healthcare professionals, medical offices, facilities, and imaging technicians.
• Receive and process imaging orders and referrals.
• Review orders for completeness, accuracy, required documentation, and appropriate diagnosis information.
• Contact medical offices to obtain missing or corrected order information.
• Coordinate prior authorization when required.
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments.
• Maintain the daily imaging schedule and assign studies to mobile imaging technicians.
• Coordinate technician routes, dispatch, and active appointments.
• Provide technician arrival and appointment-status updates.
• Communicate schedule changes to patients, caregivers, facilities, and technicians.
• Track outstanding orders, authorizations, appointments, and follow-up items through completion.
• Document calls, updates, and actions accurately in company systems.
• Identify urgent or unresolved concerns and escalate them promptly to the Director of Operations.
• Report telephone, software, or workflow problems immediately so service is not interrupted.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in radiology, diagnostic imaging, medical scheduling, healthcare dispatch, or imaging-order coordination.
• Working experience with a Radiology Information System (RIS) .
• Understanding of imaging orders, referrals, medical terminology, and patient scheduling.
• Strong telephone communication and customer-service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive requests accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail, follow-through, and written documentation.
• Reliable attendance and availability during assigned Arizona operating hours.
• Ability to work professionally with patients, families, healthcare providers, facility staff, technicians, and leadership.
• Ability to recognize problems, take appropriate action, and escalate concerns without delay.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with RIS, PACS, EMR, or healthcare scheduling platforms.
• Experience with Radin, Augmento, MediMatrix, or comparable imaging systems.
• Experience coordinating mobile X-ray, ultrasound, EKG, echocardiography, ABI, or DEXA services.
• Experience serving assisted living, skilled nursing, memory care, hospice, or home-health patients.
• Familiarity with prior authorization and medical-order requirements.
• Bilingual English and Spanish communication skills.

Location and Remote-Work Requirements

El Paso-based applicants are strongly preferred. Qualified remote applicants may also be considered.

Remote candidates must have:

• A private, professional workspace suitable for handling confidential patient information.
• Reliable high-speed internet.
• The ability to use company-approved telephone and computer systems.
• Consistent availability during assigned Arizona business hours.
• An environment where incoming calls can be answered without background noise or interruption.

Compensation

$16–$20 per hour , based on relevant radiology, RIS, scheduling, dispatch, and healthcare experience.
