Location: South Gate, CA
Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Sanchez Medical Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Bilingual Medical Receptionist / Front Office team member to join our established primary care practice in South Gate.

Fluent Spanish and English are required. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience working in a medical front office and is comfortable communicating with patients in Spanish regarding appointments, referrals, insurance, and general medical terminology.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients in English and Spanish.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Coordinate specialist referrals, diagnostic testing, and follow-up appointments.
• Track referral authorizations and insurance approvals.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information.
• Communicate referral requirements, appointment instructions, and timelines to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient information and documentation.
• Assist the front office team with general administrative duties.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English and Spanish — required.
• Minimum 2+ years of medical front-office / receptionist experience — required.
• Comfortable communicating medical information and terminology in Spanish.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy medical office.
• Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic medical records.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plus.
• Medical Assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
