Job Title : Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) Location : Lewes, DE Job Type: Full Time Shifts: Monday to Friday - 8.30 am to 4 pm Facility: Out patient Job Summary We are looking for an experienced and caring Primary Care Physician to deliver high-quality outpatient care. You will be the central point of care for patients, focusing on preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and health education in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. Key Responsibilities * Perform comprehensive patient evaluations: medical history, physical exams, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests. * Diagnose and manage both acute and chronic illnesses; develop personalized treatment plans. * Provide preventive care, including immunizations, health screenings, and lifestyle counseling. * Prescribe medications and other therapies, and monitor their effectiveness. * Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient follow-up and referrals. * Educate patients about self-care, disease prevention, and healthy behaviors. * Maintain accurate patient records using an electronic health record (EHR) system. * Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to clinical guidelines. * Stay current with medical research, advances, and best practices. Qualifications * MD or DO degree. * Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or equivalent. * Valid state medical license. * DEA registration (or equivalent) as required. * Experience (or eligibility) in outpatient primary care. * Proficiency with EHR systems. * Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. * Commitment to patient-centered, preventive care. Work Schedule & Environment * Full-time, Monday to Friday. * Standard business hours (daytime). * Outpatient setting. * No weekend calls or overnight duty.
