As a Security Officer Patrol Administrator in Olive Branch, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a caring, team-focused culture built on agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity while helping create a welcoming environment for everyone on site.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized entry, badge checks, and security-related reporting requirements.
• Assist with day-to-day security-related operations by observing site activity, reporting maintenance or policy concerns, and following post orders aligned with the location's needs.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
