Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to accurately identify clients’ mental health needs, concerns, and treatment goals.

• Deliver individualized one-on-one counseling sessions addressing diverse psychological challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.

• Facilitate couples and family therapy to improve interpersonal relationships, communication styles, and resolve conflicts within family dynamics.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that include specific objectives and evidence-based interventions appropriate to each client’s situation.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention support for clients experiencing acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and available community resources relevant to their circumstances.

• Maintain thorough and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Uphold ethical guidelines and legal requirements governing counseling practices, ensuring a commitment to client confidentiality and informed consent.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse clientele seeking mental health support. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• State licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Connecticut.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $95,000 yearly, based on experience and qualifications.
