Manufacturing Shift Lead - Day shift (6:00am-2:00pm) Monday-Friday) $24.00/hr. Who we are looking for: We are currently searching for a Manufacturing Shift Lead to be based out of Houston, TX. Reporting to the Manufacturing Supervisor, this person will be responsible for leading of an assigned team, ensuring assigned duties are completed on schedule and within the right specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company. What you'll do: Ensure product is completed per the production schedule Confirm that all products meet specification and that all required quality tests are performed Examine operator paperwork to ensure that it is complete and correct Inspect the integrity and performance of the production systems Recruit, train, and develop crew members Optimize utilization of employees and equipment Understand computerized systems associated with the technologies used in our facility Obtain production efficiencies by a developing a culture of continuous improvement Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety rules and procedures All other assigned duties Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
