KPMG is currently seeking a Cyber Assessment Manager (Penetration Testing) to be part of our Digital Security Group. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive network and web application penetration testing. Execute red teaming exercises to evaluate the effectiveness of our security operations. Engage in AI Red Teaming to enhance the security and robustness of AI systems. Lead security assessments and manage the identification and resolution of vulnerabilities. Stay informed about the latest trends and techniques in the security landscape. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. Uphold integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to maintain a respectful and courteous work environment at KPMG. Qualifications At least five years of hands‑on experience in cybersecurity with a focus on network and web application penetration testing, red teaming, AI red teaming, and security assessments. A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution is preferred; a high school diploma or GED is required. Relevant certifications such as GPEN, OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, or similar are highly desirable; certifications in Azure are a plus. Thorough knowledge of frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, MITRE ATLAS, OWASP, PTES, and NIST. Strong foundation in network and cloud security concepts, with practical experience in cloud penetration testing. Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell; familiarity with adversarial machine learning techniques is a plus. Experience with current and emerging security threats, scanning tools, and assessment methodologies; proven knowledge of security principles, IT security controls, and associated technologies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
