Litigation Legal Secretary - personal injury

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and trial materials
• File documents electronically in state and federal courts and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
• Manage attorneys' calendars, including court appearances, depositions, mediations, and client meetings
• Manage litigation deadlines including calendaring and monitoring
• Electronically maintain and organize case files and administrative information
• Coordinate service of process and communicate with courts, opposing counsel, clients, and vendors
• Assist with trial preparation, including all trial documents and witness materials
• Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the litigation team

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary, with significant experience in personal injury litigation
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and court filing requirements
• Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel); experience with case management systems preferred
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail

• This position is 100% in the office
• Pay: $38.00 - $48.00 per hour
