Job Title

Goodland, KS | Critical Access Hospital

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit within a Critical Access Hospital setting
• Float to the Emergency Room as needed — candidates should be comfortable working both Med/Surg and ER environments
• Adapt to varying patient acuity as this facility operates as a critical access hospital where patient needs span both Med/Surg and emergency care
• Work collaboratively within a small team consisting of nurses, a CNA, and a staff secretary
• Maintain accurate documentation using Athena EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas state RN license or multistate (Compact) RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC — all certifications must be AHA-issued
• Ability and willingness to work both Med/Surg and Emergency Room shifts as assigned
• No radius restrictions — travelers from all locations are welcome to apply

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred; candidates with under 3 years of experience may be considered
• Familiarity with Critical Access Hospital environments and mixed-acuity patient populations
