BIM Specialist

Miller-Remick is a full-service MEP engineering firm looking for energetic, self-motivated, and innovative individuals to join our team. Miller-Remick isseeking a BIM Specialist to support planning, coordination, and visualization efforts on complex building projects. This role will work closely with project managers, schedulers, construction teams, and design partners to develop,maintain, and leverage BIM models to improve constructability, sequencing, and project outcomes. This position is ideal for a technically strong BIM professional looking to grow within a collaborative project delivery environment. This role can be done from any state in the US. Key Responsibilities BIM Modeling & Coordination Develop,maintain, and update BIM models inRevit and related platforms to support construction planning and execution Assist withmodel coordination, clash detection, and constructability reviews in coordination with design and construction teams Support project teams withmodel-based problem solvingand visualization Collaborate with project managers, schedulers, superintendents, and designers to align BIM deliverables with project needs Prepare model views, animations, and visualizations for internal reviews, client presentations, and construction planning meetings Support BIM execution plans (BEPs) and model standards across projects Data, Standards & Quality Maintain model accuracy, organization, and data integrity in accordance with established BIM standards Assist with model handoffs, file management, and documentation Stay current on BIM workflows, tools Required Qualifications 2–3 years of experience in a BIM or Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) role Proficiency inAutodesk Revit Experience with BIM coordination tools such as Navisworks Manage(or similar) Understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in commercial, mission-critical, healthcare, aviation, or large-scale construction projects Exposure to VDC workflows, clash detection, and construction logistics modeling Miller-Remick does not provide visa sponsorship or support. Candidates are required to successfully complete a federal background check for security clearance. The anticipated pay range for this position is $40.37 - $46.14 hourly. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including experience, qualifications, education, certifications and licensure.
