POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Healthcare Recruiter leads full-cycle recruitment across the organization for positions at all levels, from providers and leadership roles to frontline clinical and non-clinical positions. This role manages the recruitment process from sourcing through offer acceptance and onboarding, using internal sourcing strategies and external recruiting partners as appropriate for each search. Serving as a consultative partner to hiring leaders, the Senior Healthcare Recruiter provides a high-touch experience throughout the hiring process, builds proactive talent pipelines, and contributes to the organization’s broader talent acquisition strategy.

CORE ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages full-cycle recruitment for positions across the organization, including physicians, advanced practice providers, leaders, clinical staff, and administrative employees, from recruitment intake through offer acceptance and onboarding handoff. 
• Develops and carries out recruitment strategies based on position requirements, market conditions, and organizational needs. 
• Builds and maintains candidate pipelines for recurring, specialized, and hard-to-fill positions. 
• Sources qualified candidates through professional networks, recruiting platforms, direct outreach, referrals, and external recruiting partners. 
• Reviews applications, conducts initial interviews, evaluates candidates against established job-related criteria, and presents qualified candidates to hiring leaders. 
• Advises hiring leaders on position requirements, candidate availability, market conditions, selection practices, and recruitment strategy. 
• Coordinates candidate communications, interviews, offers, and pre-employment activities to support a timely and professional hiring experience. 
• Partners with credentialing, People & Culture operations, and onboarding staff to support a smooth transition from offer acceptance through the employee’s start date. 
• Evaluates recruiting technologies, including AI-enabled tools, and recommends solutions that may improve recruitment processes. Uses approved technology with appropriate human review and in accordance with CCSF requirements. 
• Maintains accurate recruitment records and monitors metrics such as time to fill, candidate pipelines, conversion rates, and source effectiveness. 
• Conducts recruitment activities in accordance with applicable employment requirements and CCSF hiring policies.

Requirements:

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years (5) of full-cycle recruitment experience, including at least two years (2) independently managing multiple searches with limited supervision. 
• Healthcare recruitment experience across provider, clinical, leadership, and administrative positions. 
• Demonstrated experience establishing recruitment priorities, advising hiring leaders, building candidate pipelines, and managing searches from intake through offer and onboarding handoff.

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSE OR REGISTRATION:

• Relevant professional certification, such as CPRP, RACR, SHRM-CP, PHR, or a comparable recruiting or human resources certification, preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES:

• Strong knowledge of full-cycle recruitment, sourcing strategies, candidate assessment, and applicable employment requirements. 
• Knowledge of healthcare recruitment, including provider, clinical, leadership, and administrative positions. 
• Strong communication, interviewing, consultation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills. 
• Ability to manage multiple searches and competing priorities with accuracy and timely follow-through. 
• Proficiency with applicant tracking systems, sourcing platforms, recruitment analytics, and AI-enabled recruiting tools. 
• Ability to evaluate emerging recruiting technologies and use approved AI tools responsibly, with appropriate human review. 
• Ability to handle confidential information with sound judgment and discretion.
