Role Description
Serves a dual role as both Scrum Master and Delivery Lead, responsible for driving execution, delivery governance, and agile team effectiveness across complex technology initiatives. This role partners with Product, Engineering, Business, Architecture, and Portfolio stakeholders to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of strategic capabilities and technology solutions.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove delivery impediments, drive team accountability, and manage delivery commitments.
- Provide end-to-end oversight of project planning, dependency management, financial tracking, risk management, stakeholder communications, and executive reporting.
- Requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to balance agile team coaching with disciplined delivery management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience leading technology delivery initiatives within large, complex IT environments.
- Experience serving as both a Scrum Master and delivery/project lead on software development initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and iterative delivery methodologies.
- Scrum Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
- Experience managing risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery plans.
- Experience working with cross-functional product and engineering teams.
- Proficiency with Agile and project management tools including Jira, Rally, Microsoft Project, and related reporting tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and lead across organizational levels.
- Knowledge of portfolio financial management, forecasting, and business case development.
Requirements
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience managing technology initiatives with significant cross-team and cross-portfolio dependencies.
- PMP Certification.
- SAFe Agilist (SA), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or other Agile certifications.
- Experience supporting portfolio planning, investment prioritization, and executive governance processes.
